Sam has been working professionally as a stand-up comedian for 10 years. He's toured globally in the USA, UK, Europe and all around Australia.

Recently he's had a breakout year as a visual artist. Within 12 months of going public with his art he's been invited to hold solo exhibitions at several institutions such as Summerhall (UK), Brisbane Powerhouse & Maitland Regional Art Gallery. In September 2022, Sam debuted a show detailing his journey through Bipolar and into art called "300 Paintings in lockdown" which won "Best Comedy" and "Directors Choice Award" at the Sydney Fringe Festival 2022.

In 2023, Sam toured the festivals Perth Fringe World and Adelaide Fringe with an adapted show called "300 Paintings". In Perth he won the festival weekly award for Comedy and received five star reviews from numerous publications.

In September, Sam returned to the Sydney Fringe with a full solo exhibition which merged a one hour performance with a guided tour of his art. For this, he was awarded "Best Comedy" for the second year running.
